About

Probe Toolkit respects intellectual property rights and takes claims of copyright infringement seriously. While we do not host user-generated content, our tools display third-party data such as DNS records, WHOIS information, HTTP headers, and other publicly available network data. We want to be responsive to any legitimate concerns regarding copyrighted material that may appear on our site.

This page outlines our procedures for handling DMCA takedown notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

Designated Agent

Our designated agent for receiving DMCA takedown notices is:

  • Company: Patchen Technologies LLC
  • Contact: ethan@dispatchdb.io

Please note that a formal DMCA agent registration with the U.S. Copyright Office is pending. In the meantime, all notices sent to the address above will be reviewed and handled promptly.

Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that content displayed on Probe Toolkit infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our designated agent that includes all of the following:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work — Describe the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed, or provide a link to it.
  • Identification of the infringing material — Identify the specific material on our site that you believe is infringing and its location (URL or page description) so we can locate it.
  • Your contact information — Include your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address so we can reach you.
  • Good faith statement — A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Accuracy statement — A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Signature — A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

Incomplete notices may not receive a response. We encourage you to consult with legal counsel before filing a DMCA notice to ensure your claim is valid.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it previously appeared.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and phone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Patchen Technologies LLC may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed material within 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant initiates a court action.

Repeat Infringers

Probe Toolkit will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate or limit access for users or entities that are repeat infringers of copyright. We take a reasonable approach to enforcement and will act in accordance with applicable law.
